3D Community

PrintForHelp

We connect 3D printers with people who need parts, starting with splints for those affected by the earthquake in Venezuela.

How does it work?

PrintForHelp connects people who need 3D-printed parts with people who have a printer and want to help. Here's how the process flows:

1. Someone posts a request

A person or organization creates a campaign (e.g. “Splints for Venezuela”) and lists the parts and quantities that are needed.

2. Makers commit to print

People with a 3D printer browse the requests, choose how many parts they can print, and log their commitment. Progress updates live.

3. Drop-off & delivery

Printed parts are taken to a collection center, which gathers them and ships them to where they are needed most.
